How to fill out 2010 census form

The 2010 Census forms are due today. I watched mine sit on the counter and collect dust as I used it to jot down phone numbers, email addresses and future food orders. I'm not a big believer in filling out the census, even though it's apparently against the law to refuse to send the thing back. Against the law, really? I read an article and found it costs the government 41 cents if people mail it back, but it will cost them over $50 dollars to send a census taker to your home, which I've heard they will actually do. Now who wants to spend time with a government official if you don't have to.

I decided to do my part and let big brother know exactly who lives at my apartment, and that's a family of 4 year old Puerto Ricans. That's right. I filled the thing out in my best child's handwriting, making sure to mark multiple x's so the census worker will be forced to work overtime. Good luck with deciphering the letters to my name and the phone number because I couldn't read it after I finished.

I also attached a note and let them know I'm looking forward to all the federal funds coming my way.

Thank you Big Brother.

Nice!

I actually filled mine out and when it came to the matter of race, of which they only gave me three options, I wrote in "Decline to Identify."
